today is an "eh" day. not much going on. i am going back out shopping at the mall again today. some very important things to pick up.

so i am thinking about switching over to mac........

ok, now that you are done saying "what?!??!?!??!" let me explain. the mac is using bsd 4 as it's kernel for the osx. that is cool. and the new version of osx "panther" is going to be using bsd 5. that is really cool. not to mention the true plug and play abilities, ipod (which i know comes in the pc version now), imovie, firewire ports, usb2 ports...... so much stuff. i'm definitely interested and am going to do some research.

not much going on today. we went and saw secondhand lions tonight. that was really good. although i didn't like how haley joel osmen was the exact same person, just bigger than he was before. he bugs me. anyway.....
we recorded the big brother finale and will have to watch it later. take care.

ok jason, so it's been a couple of days. 4 to be exact. but i was in seattle this weekend, so maybe i should have said "more often" than "something everyday"..... oh well. by the way bones, thanks for the imood idea.... i'm such a thief! hahaha.

the game didn't exactly go as planned this weekend. we were kicking butt for the first three quarters, then..... i can't tell you what happened, but some of you were watching. we keep moving on, this week it's the cardinals of arizona home at the dome. should be good. bi-week coming up after that. and kristie's birthday. i need to shop for her. ok, goodnite.

give thanks to The Lord, for He is mighty and worthy of our praise!
in one of shane barndard's songs he writes "what an unfair deal on the part of Christ; He got my sin, i got eternal life." that is so true. i love that line. think about it. He took the entire world's sin and gave His LIFE so that we who believe would live in eternity with the Almighty! how fair is that? and to top it all off, after God sent His Son to do this and did all this stuff that we already owe Him for, He still wants us to pray to Him and ask for His help. that's amazing! not to mention the fact that we can never repay Him no matter how hard we try. so just think about that the next time you think that you're getting the short end of the stick!

so i'm going to start blogging something everyday, if time permits. just to keep up. it won't always be very exciting, like today for example:
i had a pretty good day at practice. everyone is all fired up about the seahawks. kristie made some yummy mexican chicken with rice and beans. it was very tasty. now i'm going to finish cleaning my closet and then play some harry potter on the ps2.

big win for the boys in blue and gold today. rams over the 49ers 27-24 in ot. nice. if you didnt' see the game you missed an exciting one. i dressed out this week but didn't see the field. my opportunity will come. and when it does, the defense had better wish it hadn't!

::.. direct tv with tivo ..::
so we were all ready to go and buy a direct tv box with tivo so that we could start experiencing this amazing thing that is digital recording. i call up direct tv to make sure that it was compatible with our service (which is carried by sbc) and sbc tells me that i can't do it in my apartment. they don't offer that service at this time! i said, you've got to be kidding me! they said no, they weren't. needless to say, i was very upset today. i was really looking forward to recording some cartoons. adult swim is never on when i'm ready to watch. anyway, take 'er easy, i'm out.
