still another joke....

it's only a week away. get ready for controversy either way. hopefully in the next 4 years God will raise someone up to be a great leader for our country.

John Kerry, taking a stroll with a senior member of Congress meets a
little girl carrying a small basket with a blanket over it.

Curious, he says to the girl, "What's in the basket?"

She replies, "New baby kittens" and opens the basket to show him.

"How nice," said Kerry. "What kind are they?"

The little girl says, "Democrats."

Kerry smiles, pats the little girl on the head and continues on.

Three weeks later again taking a stroll, he sees the little girl again
with the same basket.

Kerry says, "Watch this, it's very cute."

They approach the little girl.

Kerry asks how the kittens are and she says fine.

He then says, "What kind of kittens are they?"

and she replies, "Republicans."

Somewhat abashed, Kerry says, "Three weeks ago you said they were
"Democrats!"

"I know," she says." But now their eyes are open."

Their eyes are open, but are they going to vote? That is the question! Especially important in Illinois where the democrats are expected to win. These republican kittens must vote -- and get all of their friends to vote. We get the majority and we get all of the electorial votes for the state; that's how it works. Winner take all, and it is close enough to take. Controversy? If you don't exercise your right to vote, you have no right to complain. And things are not always as they appear. George Bush will win, republicans want it and so do many democrats, for different reasons and agendas. For example, the Clintons are not going to be upset if Bush wins. George wins, and Hillary makes her run. That is what you will see in the next four years. George will continue to do his job in the next four years, but the task for the republicans in that time is to find someone who can beat the Clintons. Think about it. Look how close the race is with the joke of a canidate they threw in there this time. I'm sure the Clinton camp is surprised (and frightened) Kerry is coming this close to winning. If Kerry were to win, Hillary's run for the top job would be postponed for an additional term. I don't think they will allow that to happen. The Clinton machine has never stopped running since Bill took office. And after the republicans win in November, you will see the Clintons come to life like never before. They are popular and powerful, and with four more years of Senatorial seniority, maybe unbeatable. We do need to pray, not only for George Bush, but for the future.
